Here is a great rule of thumb for tipping and when.
When ordering drinks at the bar only? Tip a dollar per drink to the bartender.
Ordering food at the bar? Tip 10% of the bill.
Dinner in the dining area with the waiter taking your order? Tip 15% to 20% of the bill depending on the service.
